All money isn't good money!
Just because there is an opportunity to receive money doesn't mean your are supposed to get it! Here are a few of my examples: When my mother died in 2005 my aunt wanted me to borrow money to get to Austin, Texas. I was expected to just up and leave everything including my husband and bills that needed to be paid before I left and went out of town. Now don't get me wrong I loved my mother and we have been through things that no one knows but her and I. But I know for a fact that she would have wanted me to have electricity and a home to come back to. I knew that I couldn't leave town, but I guess my aunt didn't understand my reasons. Yes, it was only 51.00 round trip on the train to Austin, but why borrow this change? I felt like my Aunt should have given it to me after all, this was my mother's sister. Anyway, I ended up receiving donations and I also traded some of my clothing for money. I was able to take care of my business at home, stay longer with my step-dad Madison in Austin, and I rode the train home in peace!
So like I said: All Money isn't good Money. Another situation in occurred in 2006 when I realized that most companies want you to work like a dog with little benefits or perks! You come to work on time forever (over five years at least) and the one time you need additional time off because of a life changing situation after you've used all the time allowed, you get written up or maybe fired. All for a maybe $13.00/hr and I really mean maybe. I know for a fact that you can earn $25 -$50/hr depending on your talent and it doesn't have anything to do with what kind of degree you have. If you love what you do you'll do good, I promise. Don't accept any job just to get the money.
